      <image:title>Work - Potlucky UX - Designing From Scratch</image:title>
<image:caption>We started by mapping out a high-level process flow for each core user task. This first step gave us a starting place and birds eye map of the user processes we needed to design. Next, we moved to paper to test the user flow and interface concepts on real people. Taking everything we learned from paper prototyping into account, we developed a complete diagram outline the entire functionality of the Potlucky App. Below is a more granular look at the finalized host and guest flow. We uncovered a ton of human emotion tied to each aspect of the potluck process for hosts and guests, including numerous pain points and barriers to guests attending. While a few people were concerned about the person who only ever brings a bag of chips, almost everyone we interviewed offered that the most important part of the potluck experience was sharing time together.
